Commissioned by Peroni Nastro Azzurro and manufactured by Alessi ALGOR is a thermal insulated double-wall bottle cooler.

Andrea Morgante of Shiro Studio describes the original inspiration: "I was interested in emphasizing the function of the chiller by manifesting the cold temperature and the act of thermal energy transfer via its shape. Like a clear block of ice, caught in the act of melting. the chiller reveals crisp "frozen" edges and soft, melting folds, conveying the tactile illusion of cold".

Thermal insulation is achieved by the double wall construction, which prevents external condensation whilst keeping the bottle perfectly chilled for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Manufactured in Italy by Alessi, the chiller is made with high-grade clear PMMA and it is fully recyclable.
